Ray Jackson: Chairman of Solcara; Managing Director of ArgentVive

Ray is a founder and previously Managing Director of Solcara. Prior to founding Solcara in 2001, Ray was Sales Director at Dataware Technologies (UK) Limited, a leader in information management, retrieval and knowledge driven e-business solutions. He was also a director at Eurostart Technologies Limited from 1997 to 1998, a company helping US technology companies entering European markets.

Ray was appointed Chairman of Solcara in January 2008 and in this role he is helping the Solcara business maximise its potential in the UK and beyond.

 

 

Rob Martin: Managing Director

Rob is a founding Director of Solcara and prior to his appointment as Managing Director in Jan 2008 he was Professional Services Director with responsibility for product development, implementation and support.

Rob has an extensive background in the design and development of information management solutions, with more than twenty years experience in this field. Between 1996 and 2001 Rob was the Professional Services Director at Dataware Technologies (UK) Ltd and prior to this role he was the Technical Director at STATUS/IQ Ltd, a specialist information management and search technology provider.

 

Bill Saumarez: Sales Director

Bill is responsible for driving Solcara’s aggressive growth strategy, including greater penetration in the EU and US markets through both direct and indirect sales channels.

Bill has more than ten years experience in software/solution sales and prior to joining Solcara in March 2008 he was UK Sales Manager at Autonomy subsidiary Meridio. Bill has worked for several well known organisations in the software industry including Visio (Microsoft), Siebel Systems and Hummingbird Ltd.

 

 

Charlie O'Rourke: Director, Market Development

Charlie, one of the founders of Solcara, is responsible for taking Solcara products into new vertical markets and geographies, and building entirely new propositions based on existing products. In this capacity, he has played a pivotal role in developing Solcara ControlPoint from concept to a world beating software product.

 

 

 

 

Kevin Fleming: Finance Director

Kevin Fleming was appointed to the Board of ArgentVive in July 2007 and as Finance Director of Solcara in January 2008. Prior to joining ArgentVive, Mr. Fleming has had significant experience in fast growing technology based companies, including as the Head of Finance for Imparta Limited, which was one of the Sunday Times Tech Track fastest growing companies.

 

Simon Hargreaves: Director

Simon is a founding director of Solcara and now has a key group role as Managing Director of RetailOn, another company within the ArgentVive group. Simon's past experience includes managing substantial finance teams in Europe and Asia, and overseeing company growth through acquisition and strategic marketing.
